Le Séchoir

Le Séchoir is a 1-bedroom (one double king size bed) traditional oak framed gîte, sleeping two people maximum, with views out to our valley and woodlands. The name Le Séchoir come from the French name for a 'drying place', the former use of the original building on this site. It would have been used for drying walnuts and grapes as well as potentially numerous other produce grown in the valley. Smoking, vaping and e-cigarettes are not permitted inside the gîte.​

The layout of Le Séchoir contains a fully equipped, open-plan, modern kitchen, dining area and comfortable lounge. Through a door to access the bedroom furnished with a king size bed and access to the shower room. All rooms exhibiting an exposed local oak frame. Exiting out through the front door again leads you to your own private terrace and small garden, where you will find everything you need to relax and take advantage of the weather. Eating outside couldn't be simpler, and if the mood takes you there is even a BBQ at your disposal. The gîte also is equiped with wifi and television offering mostly French channels but also some German and Spanish channels.

There is also a small utility cupboard equipped with a washing machine and various useful cleaning items as well as additional hanging space for jackets and clothing.

Please Note:

Whilst the gîte is laid out on one level, access to the gîte is via a small set of stairs. Also there are stairs to access the terrace.

Dogs

Sadly no dog or any other pets are permitted in this gîte. We do offer the oppotunity to bring your dog if you with but only in our other gîtes and subject to prior agreement. Please see the infomation on our Les Loriots and Les Hirondelles for further infomation.
